Ambulatory & wheelchair

For riders who walk with a little help, or ride in a wheelchair. Wheelchair riders roll aboard on the van's lift and stay in their chair, secured for the ride.

Stair chair Add-on

Required for any steps at pickup or drop-off. Two trained operators move the rider on the steps in a stair chair.

Apex Medical Transportation was founded in Warwick in 2022 to give Rhode Islanders a dependable way to get to medical care. Today our crews get riders to dialysis, treatment, therapy and doctor visits, and home again.

How booking works

  1. Call or send a request Call dispatch at (401) 400-5858, or send a ride request and we'll call you.
  2. We confirm the details Pickup time, addresses, mobility needs and how the ride is paid for.
  3. Ride day Your driver meets you at the door, gets you to your appointment and back home.
